We received a package this week from Will Chancellor, author of A Brave Man: Seven Storeys Tall. The book is partly inspired by Verso books—at least 100, he says—as indicated in Chapter 3: “reading the Verso rather than the recto.” But really, he had us at “Your books are the rivulets that dig new paths in the mind...” We think so, too ... !

Dear Verso —

At least a hundred of your books went into the BRAVE MAN stew, so I thought you needed a copy. Your books are the rivulets that dig new paths in a mind, paths that each subsequent thought runs through until the head is a thousand snaking rivers.

Thank you!

Will

NB. That reference to ‘reading the Verso rather than the recto’ was a hat tip in ch 3.

Thanks, Will!
